CMIs took over this parish on June 24, 2003. St. Teresa’s CMI Novitiate was officially started here on 8th September, 2003. A new wing was constructed parallel to the existing one and was blessed by Bp. Peter Kihara, then Bishop of Muranga, on 8th September 2004. Fr. Paulose Pazhunkaran built a priest house near the church and was blessed by Bp. James Maria. Little Flower primary school was started by Fr. Paulose Pazhunkaran in the year 2007.
